December 14, 2000 Oracle Net Income Up 62%, Earnings per Share $0.11; Application Sales Up 66%, Database Sales Up 19%
Operating Margin increases 11 points to 36% REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. 14-DEC-2000 Today, Oracle Corporation announced that second quarter net income increased 62% to $623 million, or $0.11 per share, while revenue grew to $2.7 billion. This compares to $2.3 billion in revenue, $384 million in net income, and $0.06 per share in Q2 last year. Applications software sales increased 66% to $279 million, while database software sales grew 19% to $775 million. Total software license revenue was up 25% to $1.1 billion, while total service revenue increased 9% to $1.5 billion for the quarter. Application Sales Up 42%, Database Sales Up 32%; Oracle Stock to Split 2 for 1 Redwood Shores, Calif. 14-SEP-2000 Today, Oracle Corporation announced record results for the first quarter (Q1) of its fiscal year 2001. In addition, Oracle announced a two-for-one stock split of its outstanding common shares. First quarter net income increased 111% to $501 million, or $0.17 per share, while revenue grew to $2.3 billion. This compares to $237 million in net income, or $0.08 per share and $2.0 billion in revenue, in Q1 last year. First quarter applications software sales increased 42% to $156 million, while database software sales grew 32% to $585 million. Oracle passes SAP to become the world's largest applications software company REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. 20-JUN-2000 06:00 AM Today, Oracle Corporation announced that in its fiscal fourth quarter (Q4) adjusted net income increased 76% to $926 million, or $0.31 per share, while revenue grew to $3.4 billion. This compares to $2.9 billion in revenue, $527 million in adjusted net income, and $0.18 per share in Q4 last year. Fiscal year 2000 adjusted net income increased 61% to $2.1 billion, or $0.69 per share, while revenue grew to $10.1 billion. Last year revenue was $8.8 billion and adjusted net income was $1.3 billion, or $0.43 per share. For the quarter, total net income, which includes investment gains, increased to $4.9 billion, or $1.63 per share. Redwood Shores, Calif. 14-MAR-2000 12:00 AM Today, Oracle Corporation announced that in its fiscal third quarter (Q3) adjusted net income increased 80% to $498 million, or $0.17 per share, while revenue grew to $2.4 billion. This compares to $2.1 billion in revenue, $277 million in adjusted net income, and $0.09 per share in Q3 last year. Total net income, which includes $432 million of investment gains, increased to $763 million, or $0.25 per share for the quarter. The investment gains came from the sale of 11% of Oracle's holdings in Liberate Technologies - Oracle's first network computer company spin-off. In Q3 last year, total net income was $293 million, or $0.10 per share. Database software sales increased 32% to $778 million.
