Applications New Software License Sales Up 57 Percent REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.,   December 13, 2004 10:35 AM News Facts Oracle Corporation today announced that second quarter earnings per share increased 35 percent to $0.16, compared to $0.12 last year. Net income grew 32 percent to $815 million in the quarter while total revenues were up 10 percent to $2.76 billion. Second quarter software revenues were up 13 percent to $2.22 billion while services revenues grew 1 percent to $533 million. New software license sales were up 14 percent to $971 million lead by a 57 percent increase in new applications sales. Software license updates and product support increased 12 percent to $1.25 billion. Second quarter operating margin rose to 41 percent versus 37 percent last year. Net income grew 16% to $509 million while revenues were up 7% to $2.2 billion compared to the first quarter last year. Quarterly software revenues were up 12% to $1.7 billion with new software license sales up 7% to $563 million, and software license updates and product support up 14% to $1.2 billion. Database New Software License Revenue Up 15% for Second Quarter in a Row Redwood Shores, Calif., June 15, 2004-[http://www.oracle.com/tellmemore/?3167712] Today, Oracle Corporation announced financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and for its full fiscal year 2004. Fourth quarter net income increased 15% to $990 million, or $0.19 per share, compared to $858 million and $0.16 per share last year. Total revenue increased 9% to $3.1 billion in the quarter with software revenue up 12% to $2.5 billion, and services revenue down 4% to $558 million. The Q4 operating margin was 46%, an all time high. For the full fiscal year 2004 net income was up 16% to $2.7 billion while earnings per share increased from $0.43 to $0.50. Database New License Sales up 12% to $782 Million REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., News Facts Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) today announced that fiscal 2005 Q3 GAAP earnings per share was $0.10 and non-GAAP earnings per share was $0.16, compared with GAAP and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.12 last year. GAAP net income for the quarter was $540 million and non-GAAP net income was $814 million, compared with GAAP net income of $635 million and non-GAAP net income of $650 million in Q3 last year. Total GAAP revenues increased 18% to $2.95 billion while total non-GAAP revenues increased 23% to $3.09 billion for the quarter. Third quarter GAAP total software revenues were up 15% to $2.34 billion while non-GAAP total software revenues were up 23% to $2.48 billion. GAAP services revenues were up 26% to $614 million.
